That’s why frame makers build bikes to be strong. In this case Italian rider Lorenzo Suding came up a bit short on a large gap, and the frame of his GT fury snapped. Lorenzo was fine, it would be interesting to know why and how the frame snapped, or even if the frame was not already damaged. We will ask GT directly and see what they say as it is important to understand these things properly, we doubt somehow though it won’t be an everyday occurrence that will happen to normal riders.
