MBUK Magazine Visit Punta Ala Trail Center
Wow, we have been truly lucky recently to have hosted the legendary Mountain Biking UK Magazine for a long weekend of blazing May sunshine at our HQ, Punta Ala Trail Center.
The team of Alex Evans (Features Editor) and Andy Lloyd (photographer, cover photo ©AL) travelled from Bristol to Pisa – a flight of around two hours at less than €200 per person with bike – and then travelled the 1hr 15 south to our base on the shores of the Mediterranean.

Packing in the full Punta Ala Trail Center experience is hard enough to do in a month, let alone four days, but we showed them some of our favourite trails – Rock’Oh, DH1, Criminale, to name a few – plus squeezed in some beach time at both PuntAla Camping Resort and the nearby Cala Violina.
It seemed they were in need of some Tuscan sun after a long winter in the UK! We sometimes forget how lucky we are to have year-round dry trail riding right out of the door…
Did they like it? Come on, of course they loved it! Both are booking return holidays! We think that speaks for itself.
