Transition Covert Carbon 2013 - Bike Check

So here it is in reality, the much anticipated carbon covert from Transition.  With a full carbon front triangle rear carbon seat stays and aluminium pedal stays, the frame is robust light and confindence inspiring in it’s form.

Rear triangle layout with robust stays.

The bottom bracket layout and pivot point looks really nice and solid. The main tubes are square in form and look really good, strong and probably give no room for flex.

The cable routing passes through the main tubes keeping the look of the bike clean, and probably due to the carbon layout there is no effect on strength.

With the component setup chosen by Andrea Bruno, the bike weighs in at 13.1 kilos.

Hopefully we will get a chance to try it later…
